Citizen Government. It is time.
Detroit should start making buses. There’s a huge back order for buses — every single transit agency in the country is ordering them right now and most are getting them from overseas. General Motors used to make them, so why can’t they again?

(A vapid-sounding title for what is actually an interesting piece.)

This is symptom of a problem yet to be learned by people, business, and government: Capitalism without morality is not the American life.

IMOHO free market is is oft confused with exploitation.

Here is a model of what I am seeing:

Socialism: slave labor>working class>elite class>corporations>government

Communism: slave labor>working class>criminals>government/elite class

Functional American Capitalism:

citizens>God
government»citizens>God
corporations>government>citizens>God

We the people have made compromises, tolerating  exploitation, cheap Chinese goods/offshore labor, corrupt government, and bureaucratic corporations who do not answer to the law.

We no longer answer to a moral code. And by moral code I do not mean legalism & separatism, but one of  equality, peace, goodwill, and the pursuit of happiness.

How do we change this?

Start locally; one moment, one attitude, one hour, one thought, one day, one action at a time.

Hardship is the pathway to peace.
