2009 Resolutions From Celebrities World-Wide - WSJ.com
(A vapid-sounding title for what is actually an interesting piece.)

This is symptom of a problem yet to be learned by people, business, and government: Capitalism without morality is not the American life.
IMOHO free market is is oft confused with exploitation.
Here is a model of what I am seeing:
Socialism: slave labor>working class>elite class>corporations>government
Communism: slave labor>working class>criminals>government/elite class
Functional American Capitalism:
citizens>God
government»citizens>God
corporations>government>citizens>God
We the people have made compromises, tolerating exploitation, cheap Chinese goods/offshore labor, corrupt government, and bureaucratic corporations who do not answer to the law.
We no longer answer to a moral code. And by moral code I do not mean legalism & separatism, but one of equality, peace, goodwill, and the pursuit of happiness.
How do we change this?
Start locally; one moment, one attitude, one hour, one thought, one day, one action at a time.
Hardship is the pathway to peace.
